1. Finding the Quilts & Toppers
Over the past year, I have searched for quilts and toppers that need restoration for this one of a kind apparel
2. Soaking & Cleaning
Each quilt had a thorough cleaning and refresh process from soaking in the tub and drying in the sunshine to be ready for choosing its design.
3. Pattern Development
Each quilt and topper was analyzed based on its unique color, shape, and pattern to create these original designs through flat pattern and draping.
4. Cutting, Machine Sewing, Hand Sewing and Labeling
The last step is to put it all together. This is the most intensive part of the process handing aged textiles.
